COVID-19 Important Retailer Update27 Jul 2020
Our team has been notified of a confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in a team member who worked at JB Hi-Fi. The team member last worked at the store on Sunday 19 July.
The JB Hi-Fi team is working with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and we are making contact with each of our retailers as a precautionary measure. We have received no advice which indicates there was any risk to our customers or retail team members who visited Cranbourne Park.
Following notification of the confirmed case, the JB Hi-Fi Store was closed, and the team carried out a thorough sanitisation prior to re-opening for trade. Contact tracing has been completed to identify anyone who has come into close contact with this team member. All team members who have been identified as having been in close contact with the affected team member have been contacted and asked to undergo testing and self-isolate.
We want to assure you and your teams, the safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers and the broader community is always our priority and we are continuing to monitor and act upon recommendations from our federal and state health departments.
We continue with our increased cleaning rosters with focus on specific areas including; balustrades, vertical transport, toilets, sinks, change tables and parents’ rooms, customer entry and touch points, and information screens. This will continue for the foreseeable future.
