Evan Feore loves fixing people’s problems. Having regular customers come back for his services or just smile and wave as they pass by makes his day.

Evan is a qualified watchmaker and has worked at Cranbourne Park for seven years. He was at Mister Minit at The Glen when he was offered the opportunity to franchise a new shop.

“I started out with Mister Minit repairing watches for lots of our stores around Australia and was then asked to help out in one of the busy watch repair shops,” explains Evan.

He also completed the Mister Minit Diploma of Excellence, which takes 12 months and covers all facets of the business.

Evan loves fixing people’s problems: “Everyone that comes to us has a problem: flat battery, worn/damaged shoe, broken key, blunt knife.”

Engraving is his favourite service: “The reaction I get when I’m able to personalise someone’s special item makes all the many hours of practice worthwhile.”

Evan enjoys seeing his regular customers and meeting new ones. “Having regular customers come back for my services or just smile and wave as they pass by makes my day. Over the years, I’ve been the recipient of countless acts of generosity, gratitude and kindness.”

He loves the local community – his customers and the store staff – and says that during the challenging time of Covid there was sense of understanding and leaning on each other together. His favourite time is Christmas when there is a buzz in the air and lots of customers.

For a food fix, his go-to is The Groove Train: “They do a great burger.”
