Cranbourne Park is proud to work closely and support our charity partner of choice, Korus Connect.
Korus Connect helps build communities that are connected, supported and whole. Through their Community Connector program, Korus Connect works alongside Cranbourne Park to create opportunities for our community groups to respond collaboratively to local needs.
Some examples of how Cranbourne Park and Korus Connect have worked collaboratively to create opportunities for our local community include:
In partnership with Return It & CDS Victoria, Cranbourne Park have introduced a container deposit facility located next to the Centre foodcourt. With the introduction of the container deposit facility, our local community can easily return their drink containers for a 10c refund. Refunds can be donated directly to Korus Connect following the instructions on the machine which will support the endeavours of Korus Connect.
From in Centre performances, bringing children and local groups together, to displaying artwork in centre, Korus Connect have a very strong focus on supporting students in our local community.
Korus Connect has led the Mall Walkers program at Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre.
This initiative engages seniors in the City of Casey, to foster a greater sense of social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
The Mall Walkers group meets weekly at Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre to partake in gentle exercises led by a YMCA fitness instructor, followed by walking laps around the shopping centre, and a well-earned coffee and conversation afterwards.
This weekly gathering at the Centre provides seniors with an excellent place to gather, as they are sheltered indoors from extreme weather, and enjoy access to a program designed for their unique age-related needs.

The work of the Casey E.Y.E Project is centred on the work of Korus Connect who works in partnership with other youth-focussed services in the City of Casey. Korus Connect's Community Connector coordinates and facilitates this work that takes place within the Centre which is a favoured meeting place for many disengaged and disempowered young people.
By supporting this work, you are helping change the life trajectory of these young people.

Korus Connect would love to hear how they may be able to partner with your school or organisation to help build communities that are connected, supported and whole.
